Happy 5 de Mayo!!

Ah, we needed a break from all this studying..

Mexican Calendars

Can't get over how gorgeous the calendar pinups for 1940s Mexican calendars were.  They still represent traditional beauty, although rarely seen nowadays, they take the lucky owner of one of these treasures to a time once forgotten, where women didn't wear bikinis and they still made tortillas by hand.

If you ever find yourself in Mexico don't leave without a beautiful calendar, it will cheer you up all year long.

Road rage on campus?

It seems that recently some traffic accidents have been happening on campus, we all know we should drive safely, but sometimes when people are in a hurry they forget.  Let's prevent this type of behavior from happening in the first place, if you see a driver acting aggressively, don't hessitate to call the officers.

That's what they're here for.

I kow they might be a bit intimidating, but they're quite nice (especially once you take their free self-defense classes!)

If you see something fishy going on dial UTA police ASAP
their number is (817) 272-3003

The Mask Ball at TWU

The girls at Texas Women's did an awesome job at creating a lavish affair for the ball.  It was good meeting other girls, as was hiding our identity with masks!

Sadly, a tornado that hit Denton brought the celebration to an early end..

Daisy with the winner of the costume contest!!

Eva won a goody bag, but since it contained John Wayne memorabilia, it was given to her dad
The night turned out better than we expected, Daisy got a cartoon made of herself and Eva was interviewed for the newspaper.
